
Word on the street is that an Illinois firm, Grand Venues, has bought the Paramount Theater. They plan to turn the building into a performance space and theater. They paid $79,900 for it with renovations estimated to cost $3.5 million. They hope to have the building open within two to three years. Youngstown residents would do well to check out the history of the company that is going to "save' the Paramount.
