Joe, this reminded me of when I first moved to D.C., in 1982. While preparing for the move, I had heard for months about how D.C. rarely got snow, and when it did, it was just an inch or two. Sure enough, my first week after moving there, there was an historic blizzard, which must have dumped something like three feet on the area. I loved it.
