The Springs Common Bridge
It was near this spot that in 1796, John Young founded Young's Town. Although he never settled here, two men in his party, James Hillman and Daniel Shehy did and have South Side streets named after them. This postcard depicts the Springs Common Bridge, which still exists in a different form.
